Employment Hero’s Development module is an essential part of how you as the manager can organise meetings with your employees and provide them with transparent input on their performance.

1:1s | Set out and optimise development meetings
The 1:1 (one-to-one) feature allows you to schedule one-to-one meetings with each of your employees. You can also arrange one-to-ones between a manager who reports to you and one of their direct reports.
Additionally, you can work from pre-built templates and customise your meeting agendas and questions, ensuring that both you and your employees have clear visibility on the goals of each discussion.

With the 1:1s feature:
- Managers and admins can easily schedule and manage one-to-one discussions by setting and adjusting the dates, times, and frequencies of their meetings.
- Admins can submit flexible and customisable meeting arrangements using one-to-one templates that can be pre-designed, edited, or built from scratch.
- Employees and managers can ensure alignment and transparency by adding extra information to the Shared Notes function, keeping each party well informed of goals and progress.
- Employees and managers can maintain ongoing communication through the built-in chat function, which provides a dedicated space for direct messages and supporting document attachments.
- Managers can reduce management bias and oversight by ensuring all one-to-ones are consistently documented and accessible, securing reliable and easily-accessed logs.
- Managers and employees can stay organised and on schedule with seamless email reminders sent whenever new information is submitted or updated.
- Managers and admins can balance automation with customisation by using AI-generated* question templates that can be fully edited to suit their needs and preferences.

The Feedback feature allows users to provide supportive and constructive input about their colleagues and staff members’ performance. As a single space for you to offer clear and actionable feedback for only the intended recipients, it ensures an individual’s professional development is discussed with transparency and confidentiality.
The feature also keeps an intuitive log of all the feedback you have submitted and received to both your direct reports and your peers, helping you keep track of inbound and outbound comments with clear visibility and ease.
