A journal file export service is a tool that allows you to select the accounting software file export that matches your accounting platform's requirements, so that you can capture journal entries in your chart of accounts. If you use MSG Global for your accounting software and journal service, and Employment Hero for your payroll, you would simply select the MSG Global Accounting file option on your Employment Hero Payroll platform via the Journal Service feature.
After selecting the MSG Global export file option and setting up your chart of accounts, you can download your payroll journal data from a finalised a pay run and upload into your MSG Global platform. We also format the export file data to reflect automatically your MSG Global reporting layouts, reducing the work needed on your end to upload your data onto your MSG Global platform.
