A journal file export service is a feature that allows you to select the accounting software file export that matches your accounting platform's requirements. So that you can capture journal entries in your chart of accounts. First you select the Attaché export file option and then set up your chart of accounts. Then you can download your payroll journal data from a finalised pay run and upload it into your Attaché platform. We also format the export file data automatically to reflect your Attaché reporting layouts.
Getting started
Set up your Attaché file export
- Log into your Employment Hero Payroll classic platform.
- Click the Business Settings menu.
- Click the Payroll Settings submenu.
- Click the Integrations button.
- Locate the Attaché logo and click the Add button.
- Click the Enable button.
Downloading data
Download Attaché file from a finalised pay run
- Log into your Employment Hero Payroll classic platform.
- Click the Pay Run menu.
- Click the finalised pay run that needs to be downloaded.
- Click the Actions tab.
- Click the Download Journal button.
Deleting data
Disable your Attaché file export
- Log into your Employment Hero Payroll classic platform.
- Click the Business Settings menu.
- Click the Payroll Settings submenu.
- Click the Integrations button.
- Locate the Attaché logo and click the button.
- Click the Disable button.
