Manage your Microsoft Outlook and recruitment module integration

Available for the following plans: Plus, Unlimited HR, Engage, Elite, Unlimited HR+Payroll

A recruitment module helps companies organise candidates for hiring and recruitment purposes. Allowing businesses to collect information, organise prospects based on experience and skill set, and filter applicants. There are many benefits of using such a module, and you can expect to see metrics like time, cost, and candidate quality improvements.

The Microsoft Outlook Integration feature allows you to connect the recruitment module to your Microsoft Outlook account and send candidate emails directly from the platform. However, you will not be able to add a user to a calendar invite if they do not have an email address on their file. You can also use this feature to disconnect this integration if you no longer want to send Outlook emails via your recruitment platform.

Getting started

Integrate with Microsoft Outlook
  1. Click the  Recruitment menu.
  2. Click the Candidates tab.
  3. Click the  button.
  4. Click the Open Candidate Profile button.

Email a candidate
  1. Click the  Recruitment menu.
  2. Click the Candidates tab.
  3. Click the  button.
  4. Click the Open Candidate Profile button. Pool_1.jpg

  6. If you have a pre-made recruitment email template, select it from the Template drop-down and continue to step 8. If not, move onto step 7.

    Helpful Hint

    You can click the Save Template   and select either Save a New Template or Replace a Current Template option.

  7. Complete the following fields:

    • Subject.
    • Message.

    Helpful Hint

    You can choose from the following formatting options:

    •   (Bold).
    •   (Italics).
    •   (Underline).
    •   (Dot Point List).
    •   (Number List).
    •   (Attachments).
    •   (Variables).

Schedule a meeting
  1. Click the  Recruitment menu.
  2. Click the Candidates tab.
  3. Click the  button.

  8. Complete the following fields:

    • Event title.
    • Date
    • Start time.
    • End time.
    • Time zone.
    • Attendees.
    • Meeting.
    • Event description.

  9. Click the Send Invitation button.

Maintain

Disconnect from Microsoft Outlook
  1. Click the Recruitment menu.
  2. Click the Candidates tab.
  3. Click the ellipsis button (three dots).
  4. Click the Open Candidate Profile button.

  5. Click the email button (envelope icon).
  6. Click the Update button for the From field.
  7. Click the Continue without an account button.
