Configuring authorising signatory details

Available for the following plans: Employment Lite, Employment Plus, Employment Unlimited
Available for the following HR classic  plans: Free, Standard, Premium, Platinum

An authorising signatory is an individual authorised to sign off on employee contracts and HR documents within your organisation. This person is responsible for reviewing, signing, and sending the documents to the intended recipients. The Authorizing Signatory feature enables you to designate this role within your organisation. It allows the nominated individual to input their signature on the Employment Hero platform. Additionally, you can assign employees with sending authority, enabling them to sign contracts on behalf of the authorising signatory.

Important

Only one user can store their digital signature within the Employment Hero platform.

Daily activities

Setup and/or change an authorising signatory

Warning

When you edit and then save a new authorising signatory, the platform will remove your previously stored signatory.

  1. Click the   Settings menu.
  2. Click the Authorising Signatory submenu.
  3. Select an employee from the Authorising Signatory field.
  4. Click the Save button.

  5. Click the   Settings menu.
  6. Click the E-signature set-up submenu.
  7. Create your e-signature and select who has sending authority.
  8. Click the Upload button to import your existing signature.
  9. Click the Save button.
     

    Helpful Hint

    The uploaded signature should be sized at 300 x 100 pixels. The Sending Authority field specifies who else can send documents on behalf of the authorising signatory. Only the authorising signatory can create the e-signature and assign sending authority. Lastly, once assigned, the authorising signatory will receive an email prompting them to create an e-signature.

Is it possible to add two signatories to a letter in Employment Hero?

Currently, Employment Hero does not support the option to add two authorising signatories to a letter.
