Discount Store purchasing, viewing your gift card and Hero Points Balance | HR Web Platform

You can use the Discount store to buy products aimed at enhancing your life at work and home at reduced prices. You can buy products with payment cards or your Hero Points balance. Some examples of products with reductions available include:

  • Gift cards for groceries
  • Gift cards for movies
  • Gym memberships
  • Electronics
  • Phone accessories
  • Health insurance
  • Home loans

Important

Delivery times are determined by the supplier and can vary depending on their schedule, stock levels, and other factors.

Daily activities

Make a purchase
  1. Click the    Benefits menu.
  2. Click the Swag Store submenu.
  3. Click the product you wish to purchase.

  4. Click the Buy Now button.

  5. Use the slider to:
    • Select how many Hero Points go towards the purchase.
    • Select the earned pay access amount going towards this purchase.

    Important

    Earned pay access is only available for Employment Hero Payroll customers.

  6. Click the Continue button.

  7. Click the Pay via Credit Card button.
  8. Enter your credit card details.
  9. Click the Continue button.

  10. Enter your shipping and address information if required, then click the Continue button.
  11. Review your details and click the Complete Order button.

View gift card purchases

Warning

After purchasing a gift card, you can only access it through the Employment Hero HR platform or Employment Hero mobile application. Employment Hero does not email you the gift card details.

  1. Click the    Benefits menu.
  2. Click the Order History submenu.
  3. Click the Detail button.

  4.  To view the details on how to redeem your gift card, click on the downward-facing arrow.

    Important

    Your gift card is active if there is a balance displayed, i.e. Balance $100. If you have used the gift card, or it has expired, the balance will no longer display. Instead, it will say used or expired.

View my product tracking number
  1. Click the    Benefits menu.
  2. Click the Order History submenu.
  3. Click the Detail button.

View your Hero Points balance
  1. Click the    Benefits menu.
  2. Click the My Points submenu.
  3. You will see your Hero Points balance at the top of the screen.

You can use the following payment methods within the discounts store:

  • Visa debit or credit card.
  • Mastercard debit or credit card.
  • Hero Points.
  • Earned pay access.
Earned pay access fees
Transaction Method. Fee.
Discount store purchases using a combination of debit, Hero Points plus earned pay access. $0
Discount store purchases using earned pay access only. $0
Earned pay access withdraw. During the Covid pandemic, Employment Hero removed all fees associated with using earned pay access as a goodwill gesture. To cover operating costs, we are reintroducing the earned pay access fee from the 17th October 2022; this means an earned pay access withdrawal of your pay into your bank account will be $4.00 per transaction.
