Happy employees are engaged employees, and for most organisations, a happiness survey is the first step in engaging with their employees. Measuring, actioning and closing the loop on the provided happiness survey feedback will show your employees that management values their input.
The Employee Happiness feature allows you to rate your happiness out of ten and provide a comment on why you gave this rating. The data is anonymous, and there is no way for your organisation to identify you, when you use this feature.
To use the happiness feedback survey, an admin needs to enable this feature within Employee Engagement settings. To read further details on how to enable this feature, refer to the following article.
HR Best Practise
The Employee Happiness Survey is a great feature to allow you to provide honest feedback to the business. Our HR experts recommend you complete this survey with honesty and put thought into your responses, as this is a great forum for you to provide anonymous feedback, that your business has asked from you.
By providing honest and constructive feedback, it allows the business to take the opportunity to act upon your responses. Your feedback may include areas that you feel require some attention or improvement by the business, and what you feel particularly happy and/or pleased about within the company.
We base the default access level on a per user basis and whether they have view, edit and delete access and excluding any changes made via our Custom Security feature.
- Click the Home menu.
- In the Happiness Survey widget, select your happiness score from one to ten.
- Enter a comment on why you gave the score you did.
Not sure what to write? If you are on our Platnium HR Plan you can type a few points in, then click to have our AI help you generate a draft message. You will be able to refine the draft as you need before submitting.
- Click the Submit button.
You will now see a Thank You For Your Response message and means the HR platform has successfully submitted your feedback. Once you have completed the survey, it disappears from your dashboard.
So you have now completed your happiness survey and you are now wondering, what next can I do. There are two recommendations I would make on this front and they are:
- Managing Assigned Tasks from My Dashboard | HR Web Platform This feature shows you a summary of the tasks assigned to you, their deadline, and the ability to mark them as complete.
- Viewing my latest pay slips on my dashboard | HR Web Platform When your organisation sends you your latest payslip, you can access this one and the two previous pay slips from the Payslip widget on your dashboard
