Overview
As an employee, you will need to submit timesheets if your organisation requires you to track the hours you work weekly. Timesheet requests allow your manager to see the hours you have submitted over the last week, so they can compare this against your contracted hours, with the end goal being approval of these entries so you receive payment for the days worked.
You can use the My Weekly Hours Based Timesheets feature to submit a timesheet with the total hours you have worked per day for the last week; select the required work type, and add any required comments. You can also use this feature to edit the information if it changes and delete a record that is no longer required.
To use this timesheet type, you need to enable Daily Hours based on Weekly Entries. To read further details on how to enable this feature, refer to the following article.

So you have now learned how to submit a timesheet and you are now wondering what next can I do. There are two recommendations I would make on this front and they are:
- HR platform: Request leave This feature is where you can ask for a leave request, such as annual and sick leave, and any other leave types that you are entitled to take.
- HR Platform: Employee Shout Outs on the Company Feed This feature allows you to shout-out a co-worker for stepping in once off and helping you out with your role or a project.
