Payroll platform: Integrating with your Saasu platform

Overview

A journal service is a tool that allows you to connect your accounting software with your payroll platform so that you can capture journal entries in your chart of accounts. If you use Saasu for your accounting software and journal service, and Employment Hero for your payroll, you would simply connect Saasu with your Employment Hero payroll platform via the Journal Service integration feature.

After connecting your Saasu and EH Payroll platforms together, and setting up your chart of accounts, you can post-payroll journals automatically into Saasu upon finalising a pay run, eliminating the need for manual data import/exports or CSV uploads. You will also notice with this export feature we format the data to reflect automatically your Saasu reporting layouts.

Getting started

The below premises will walk you through how to source your Saasu File ID and API key and how to connect your accounting platform with your payroll platform.

Source your Saasu File ID and API key

Log into your Saasu platform.
Click the button.
Click the Settings for this File button.
Click the API Web Service button.

Helpful Hint

You will now see your File ID and API key.

Connect to your Saasu platform

Log into your Employment Hero Payroll platform.
Click the Business Settings menu.
Click the Payroll Settings submenu.
Click the Integrations button.
Locate the Saasu logo and click the Add button.
Complete the Saasu File ID and Saasu API Key fields.
Click the Connect to Saasu button.
Click the Save button.

Click the Payroll Settings submenu.
Click the Integrations button.
Locate the Saasu logo and click the button.
