If your organisation has employees attached to and paid by award or pay condition rule sets, then being able to see the details on what data the platform is basing its calculation on, will help you understand why you see the pay run figures you see.
By using the Timesheet Content Panel, you can access and view the details on the rule sets that the Payroll platform is applying for a chosen employee. You can also download this information and analyse the information further in any CSV supported program such as Excel or Google Sheets.
A pay run needs creating first, before you access the Timesheet Context Panel. To read further details on how to create a pay run, refer to the following article.
- Click the Pay Run menu.
- Click on the pay run that needs an employee's timesheet context panel viewed.
- Click on the employee's name who needs their timesheet context panel viewed.
- Click the Rule Set Name button.
- Click the Date drop-down.
You will now see the rule set details that the Payroll platform applied to the employees timesheet submission for this date record.
