As a manager, seeing the assets assigned to your contractors allows you to gauge who has the right tools to undertake their role and who needs assets assigned to excel in their role. This allows you to maintain a high-performing team that has the right tools to do their job.
You can use the asset feature within a contractor's file to view the details of when they received the assigned asset, what the name of it is, and the code assigned to the item. You can also use this feature to see when they returned the item back to the organisation.
Important
By default, managers can access the assets feature in their contractor reporting employee file. However, using the Custom Security Permission feature, you can enable a group of users the permission to view the asset details in the contractor file even if they are not a manger and the contractors are not in their reporting line.
