How do I check my Xero account is ready for Single Touch Payroll (STP) phase two?

  We base the default access level on a per user basis and whether they have  view,  edit and  delete access, excluding any changes made via our Custom Security feature.

Answer

You can use the Single Touch Payroll for Xero feature within the Payroll Integration Issues module to check that your Xero platform is ready for STP phase two.

Check Xero platform is ready
  1. Click the   Payroll Setting menu.
  2. Click the Payroll Integration Issues submenu.
  3. Click the Single Touch Payroll for Xero tab.
  4. Click the Check button.

So you have now checked your Xero platform has STP phase two enabled and you are now wondering what next can I do. There are two recommendations I would make on this front:

  • HR Platform: Expense Categories This feature allows you to create a new expense category, edit the information if it changes, and delete a record if it is no longer relevant.
