Set up your organisation's new employee request process via the HR platform

Available for the following HR plans: Premium, Platinum
Available for the following User Access levels: Admin      

The Employee Requisition Set Up feature allows you to set up your organisation's new employee request approval process and specify who can approve a new employee request on your HR platform. You can also use this feature to edit the process if it changes and remove an entry you no longer need.

Important

Currently, for an employee to submit an Onboarding Approval request, you must enable specific permissions in the Custom Security Settings.

Navigate to Settings > Custom Security Settings > Other Permissions > Onboarding (onboarding employees) > then tick Use.

However, this allows employees to add users without following the Onboarding Approval process. We are aware of this issue and have informed our Product Team, who are working on updating this flow. For now, enabling these settings is the only workaround available.

Getting started

Add a new employee request approval process
  1. Click the   Settings menu.
  2. Click the Employee Requisitions submenu.
  3. Click the Add Approval Process button.

  4. Complete the following fields:
    • Approval process name.
    • Assign to team.
    • Requisition approvers.
    • Onboarding approvers.
  5. Click the Save button.

  1. Click the   Settings menu.
  2. Click the Onboarding Approvals submenu.
  3. Click the Actions   button.
  4. Click the   Edit button.

  5. Make the requested changes and click the Save button.
  6. Click the Continue button.

Removing data

Delete a new employee request approval process
  1. Click the   Settings menu.
  2. Click the Onboarding Approvals submenu.
  3. Click the Actions   button.
  4. Click the   Delete button.

Definitions

Definitions
Owner Owner of the business, and they have the same access as admin.
Admin Administrator access to the whole platform and no restrictions.
Requesters Manager The primary manager of the employee requesting the employee's requisition.
Head of Employee's Team You can assign a team leader from within the Teams Settings feature. If you do not assign a leader, we will automatically approve the request.
Head of a Specific Team You can assign a team leader from within the Teams Settings feature. If you do not assign a leader, we will automatically approve the request.
Specific Person Specific person you would like to select from the employee list to approve the request.
