Managing time off requests is essential for maintaining accurate records and ensuring smooth communication within your organization.
The My Time Off Requests feature lets you view your approved, pending, and remaining time off requests all on one page. This helps you stay informed about your remaining balance, plan ahead, and both manage and communicate your time away from work effectively.
Getting started
- In Employment Hero, click the Time menu.
-
Under Time Off, click the Time Off submenu.
Important
You will now see your time off balances in the My Time Off Requests screen. There will be a horizontal bar per time off type that shows your:
- Approved time off requests (in green)
- Pending time off requests (in orange)
- Remaining time off balance (in grey)
Helpful Hint
The highlighted time off balance portion in the photo above will only show entitlement time off types. Time off balances for timesheet accruals and per pay run will not show in this area.
- In Employment Hero, click the Time menu.
- Under Time Off, click the Time Off submenu.
- Click the View future year button.
- Here you will see the Viewing future year panel.
- Click on Back to current year to return to the current year.
