Submit an off-cycle payroll request in EH Payroll

Available for the following plans: Employment Lite, Employment Plus, Employment Unlimited

Sometimes, you may need to make unscheduled payments to employees outside of your typical pay period. When this happens, you can use the Communications feature in Payroll to send in an off-cycle payroll request. You will not be able to prepare this on your own. Instead, the Employment Hero payroll team will take care of it for you.

Getting started

Submit an off-cycle payroll request
  1. Click the Pay menu.
  2. Click the Communications submenu.
  3. Click the Add New button.

  4. Under Topic, select Off-Cycle Payroll.
  5. Enter the following details:
    • Pay run.
    • Proposed paid date.
    • Subject.
    • Message - You can explain the details of the request in this field.
    • Upload amendments.
  6. Click the Submit button.
