An employee's manager dictates their placement within the organisational chart. Assigning teams to an employee creates useful tags against an employee in the organisation chart but does not dictate where they will appear. Currently, our organisation chart feature will only show employees when their start date is in the past. Therefore, it is worth checking that the employee's start date is in the past, rather than the future. To change an employee's start date, see this article.
