As an employee, you need to submit timesheets if your organisation requires you to track the hours you work weekly. Timesheet requests allow your manager to see the hours you have submitted over the last week, so they can compare this against your contracted hours, with the end goal being approval of these entries so you receive payment for the days worked.
You can use the My Weekly Hours-Based Timesheets feature to submit a timesheet with the total hours you have worked per day for the last week; select the required work type, and add any required comments. You can also use this feature to edit the information if it changes and delete a record that is no longer required.
To use this timesheet type, you need to enable Daily Hours based on Weekly Entries. To read further details on how to enable this feature, refer to the following article.

We base the default access level on a per user basis and whether they have view, edit and delete access and excluding any changes made via our Custom Security feature.
Daily activities
- Click the Time menu.
- Click the Timesheet submenu.
- Click the Add Weekly Timesheet button.
- Click the Hourly button.
- Select the starting date in the Week drop-down.
- Complete the following fields:
- Cost centre.
- Work type.
- Monday to sunday work hours.
- Comment.
Helpful Hint
You can add a new row by clicking the Add New Row button. You can delete a row by clicking the Remove button at the end of the timesheet row.
- Click the Save button.
- Click the Time menu.
- Click the Timesheet submenu.
- Click the Add Weekly Timesheets button.
- Click the Full Day/Half Day button.
- Select the starting date in the Week drop-down.
- Complete the following fields:
- Cost centre.
- Work type.
- Monday to sunday half-day or full day.
- Comment.
Helpful Hint
You can add a new row by clicking the Add New Row button. You can delete a row by clicking the Delete button at the end of the timesheet row.
