Welcome to this week's release notes. Employment Hero has been busy as always and released a large amount of new feature for our customers. Please see below for our new updates.
The Employment Hero payroll product team has released new updates to our reporting features and also to the way you can input income tax numbers.
We have now updated the CP8A EA Form from the 2017 format in line with the 2021 standards per LHDN requirements. Also, we have made some user interface enhancements within the CP8A EA Form (Statement of remuneration) report menu to reflect rounding to match the excel report. We have also updated the onscreen column values accordingly. You can read more details here.
We have updated income tax number validation to allow you to leave it blank as some employees do not have an income tax number. The validation will still check for 13 characters within the income tax number field should a user key in a value within the field. The update affects API validation too.
