Configure the user-specific emails you will receive and their frequency

Available for the following plans: Employment Plus, Employment Unlimited
Available for the following HR plans: Premium, Platinum
Available for the following user access levels: Employee    , Manager    , Admin    

The notification settings feature provides you with the ability to activate or deactivate the email notifications that come from Employment Hero. These emails contain topics like timesheets, incident reports, scheduled duties, onboarding, and more, granting you the power to choose the messages that you get. All users have access to the Notification Settings feature and can choose which notifications they receive. To view the list of all Employment Hero emails sent out, see this article.

Daily activities

Change the email notifications you receive
  1. Click the   Settings menu on the left of the homepage.
  2. Click the Notification Settings submenu, towards the bottom of the list.
  3. Select Yes or No for the below settings:
    • Announcements.
    • Celebrations:
      • Work anniversary.
      • Birthdays.
    • Certifications.
    • Incident report.
    • Off-boarding.
    • On-boarding:
      • Manager on-boarding status.
      • Employee on-boarding status.
    • Pay slips.
    • Probation.
    • Recruitment
      • Candidate Applies
      • Candidate Withdraw Application
      • Candidate Movement
    • Scheduled tasks.
    • Timesheets.
      • Pending timesheets.
      • Timesheet status update.

Set up daily emails at a time of your choice
  1. Click the   Settings menu.
  2. Click the Notification Frequency submenu
  3. Select the daily option in the Notification Frequency field.
  4. Enter the desired notification time.

Set up weekly emails on a day and time of your choice
  1. Click the   Settings menu.
  2. Click the Notification Frequency submenu
  3.  Select the weekly option in the Notification Frequency field.
  4. Enter the desired day and notification time.

Set up instant emails as soon as the updates happen
  1. Click the   Settings menu.
  2. Click the Notification Frequency submenu
  3. Click the Delete button.
