How do I calculate the gross payment from the net payment?

Answer

You can use the Calculate Gross Payment from Net feature to work out the net payment figure you need to add to a Pay Run. You will need to undertake the below steps via your Employment Hero Payroll platform.

Calculate gross payment from net
  1. Log in to your Employment Hero Payroll platform.
  2. Click the   Pay Run menu.
  3. Click on the Pay Run that needs this figure calculated.

  4. Click on the required employee name.
  5. Click the Actions button.
  6. Click the Calculate Gross Payment from Net button.

  7. Complete the following fields:
    • Desired net payment.
    • Pay category.
    • Units.
  8. Click the Add to Pay Run button.
