There may be times when you receive email notifications from the Employment Hero platform that you neither need nor want to receive. For example, it may email you about employee birthdays when you have already set up your own calendar to do this.
To reduce the number of unwanted email notifications you receive, you need to access your Employment Hero platform's Notifications Settings page. This article covers how to do this.
Manage Notification Settings data
-
Go to your Employment Hero platform.
-
On the main menu bar (on the left side of the screen), click Settings.
-
On the submenu that will now appear, click Notification Settings.
The Notification Settings page will now appear, which provides a table with three rows entitled Module, Event, and Email Notifications. - Note each row that contains the module and event you do not want to be updated about.
Tip: You may not see the module(s) and event(s) that you do not want to be updated about at first. If so, try clicking the right arrow on the pagination controls in the bottom right corner of your screen to go to the next page.
- On each relevant row, go to the Email Notifications column and switch the row's toggle settings from Yes to No.
When you have turned on the No setting in the relevant row(s), you should no longer receive email notifications containing information about modules and events that do not concern you.
