Explanation
This warning shows because you are attempting to lodge a finalisation event or update event where you marked all employees as Final in your first STP lodgement for the financial year. If you have not set up this information correctly, the platform will display the above warning when you go to submit an STP lodgement.
Solution
If you have finalised pay runs for the financial year and have not lodged these pay runs via STP, then you must first lodge each pay run prior to starting the finalisation process. This is a requirement of the ATO. Once you have lodged the pay runs via a pay event submission, you can then return to lodging the finalisation event. You may need to refresh your pay event or update event data for these changes to display on your screen.
