Here is the difference between an amendment and a revision:

• Amendments - Any changes to an upcoming pay run that is still in the "Next Pay Runs" tab. You can submit amendments if you have not clicked the Prepare Pay Run button yet.
• Revisions - Any changes to a pay run that already sits in the "Current Pay Runs" tab. You can submit revisions for a pay run if you have already clicked the Prepare Pay Run button.

1. Click the Pay menu on the purple side bar.
2. Under Payroll, click the Pay Runs submenu.
3. Click the Next pay run tab to see your upcoming pay runs.
4. Click the upcoming pay run you need to submit amendments for.
5. In the Pay Run Amendments section, click the Upload amendment button.
   
6. In the Upload Pay Run Amendment popup, click Amendments template. This will download our prepared template where you can make the needed changes.
   
7. On the template you downloaded, put the pay run amendments you need.
8. Do not forget to Save your progress.
9. Back on the platform, you can upload the file you edited by either:
   • Clicking the small upload button and choosing the correct file. Or;
   • Dragging the file to the upload box.

10. After uploading the file, click the Submit button.
    

    Helpful Hint

    You can also see a record of the latest amendments made to the upcoming pay run.

    

    Important

    To review and prepare your pay run after the amendments have been applied, please refer to this article: Prepare a pay run in Intelligent Payroll or Managed Payroll.

4. Click the processed pay run you need to submit revisions for.

   Helpful Hint

   A processed pay run that is ready for review will have an orange "Ready for Review" tag.

5. Click the Revisions required button.
   
6. In the Submit Pay Revisions popup, click Revisions template. This will download our prepared template where you can make the needed changes.
   
7. On the template you downloaded, provide details for the incorrect data and what it should be.
8. Do not forget to Save your progress.
9. Back on the platform, you can upload the file you edited by either:
   • Clicking the small upload button and choosing the correct file. Or;
   • Dragging the file to the upload box.

10. After uploading the file, click the Submit button.
    

    Helpful Hint

    After uploading, the pay run status will change to "Revisions Submitted". You will receive an email when your pay run has been adjusted according to the changes you made.
