Explanation

This warning shows when your business has not correctly completed your organisation's Australian Tax Office (ATO) Settings page. If you have not set up this information correctly, the platform will display the above warning when you go to submit a Single Touch Payroll lodgement.

Solution

You will need to review your ATO Settings page and make sure you have entered a valid phone number under the As an Employer tab. To read further information on this process, you can refer to this article. You will also need to make sure you enter a valid phone number on your Business Details page and Employing Entities page. You may need to refresh your pay event or update event data for these changes to display on your screen.
