Our payroll platform makes it easy to change your employees' superannuation details in the event that they have changed superannuation funds or would like to allocate their paid super into multiple super funds. Also, if an there superannuation fund changes, there was a mistake with their superannuation details, or their super distribution needs updating, it can also be done within the payroll platform.

Note that businesses that do not have an award will not be able to add further employer default funds from 8th September 2025.

Getting started

Add a super fund

Log into your Employment Hero Payroll platform.
Select the Employees menu.
Select the employee you would like to edit.
Click the Super Funds button.
Click the Add button.
Enter the super fund name, USI or ABN, then click the Search button.
Select the correct super fund.
Enter the employee's super fund member number and click the Save button.

Maintain

The following outlines the steps to edit and/or delete an employee's super fund details.

Edit a super fund

Log into your Employment Hero Payroll platform.
Click the Employees button.
Select the employee you would like to edit.
Click the Super Funds button.
Update the Super Fund Member Number and the Pay Into this Fund fields.
Click the name of the super fund.
Select the name, USI, or ABN of the new super fund, then click the Search button.
Select the updated super fund.
Click the Save button to confirm the changes.

Delete a super fund

Helpful Hint

You can only delete a super fund if there is more than one super fund set up in the employee's profile.

Log into your Employment Hero Payroll platform.
Click the Employees menu.
Select the employee you would like to edit.
Click the Super Funds button.
Click the button.
Click the Ok button.
