The Chat Engagement report gives you a self-serve view of how chat is being used across your organisation. From the Reports module, you can see total messages sent, how many employees are actively using chat, and how both metrics trend over time — so you can demonstrate the value of chat internally and spot changes in adoption early.
Before you start, make sure your organisation has the Chat Add-on active.

Further information
What does the adoption rate on the Active chat users card mean?
The adoption rate shown on the Active Chat Users card represents the proportion of your organisation's employees who were active in chat during the selected date range. For example, "74% adoption rate" means 74% of employees sent or received a chat message in that period.
Why does the Active chat users chart show different values at weekly or monthly granularity?
When you switch the Active Chat Users chart to weekly or monthly granularity, each data point shows the peak daily active user count within that week or month — not a sum or average. By contrast, the Messages Sent chart uses a total for weekly and monthly data points, summing all messages sent across the period.
