The Employment Hero Work app acts as a seamless two-factor authentication (2FA) method, enabling you to use your Employment Hero Work app as a 2FA device.
When you have Employment Hero Work Authenticator enabled on your device, you will receive a push notification if you have push notifications enabled for Employment Hero Work. If you do not have notifications enabled, you will need to open the Employment Hero Work app to see the 2FA prompt.
Getting started
Important
If you do not have a 2FA method already established (authenticator app or SMS), you will need to set one up before using the Employment Hero Work app as an authentication method.
- Log into Employment Hero.
- Select your profile in the top-right corner.
- Select My Account.
- Under Employment Hero Work Authenticator, select Setup.
- Scan the QR code. If you have the Employment Hero Work app downloaded, the Employment Hero Work app will open on your device. If you do not have the Employment Hero Work app downloaded, you will be redirected to the Employment Hero Work app download page via your device's respective app store.
- You will then see a message confirming that the Employment Hero Work app will act as your 2FA method for your Employment Hero account.
Daily activities
- Log into the Employment Hero platform.
- After successfully logging in, you will receive a message regarding a push notification being sent to your Employment Hero Work app.
- Select the push notification on your device, and select Yes it's me.
- You will receive a confirmation message that your account has been logged in.
- Log into Employment Hero.
- Select your profile in the top-right corner.
- Select My Account.
- Under Employment Hero Work Authenticator, select Edit.
- Select Delete on the devices you would like to remove, then select Save. You can remove multiple devices at once.
- To confirm the removal, enter your password, then select Continue.
