1. Log into Employment Hero.
2. Select your profile in the top-right corner, then select Account Settings.
   
3. Under Passkeys, select Add Passkey.
   
4. You will be prompted to select where you want to save your passkey. In the following screenshot, the options are for a MacOS user running Google Chrome, however, your options will vary depending on the device, web browser, or any password managers, such as iCloud Keychain, LastPass, 1Password, or Bitwarden. In this example, we will select Use a phone, tablet or security key.
   
5. Selecting Use a phone, tablet or security key will allow you to scan a QR code, which will open your password manager on your device and add the passkey to your account. In the example below, an iPhone running the latest version of iOS and Bitwarden was used to scan the QR code.
   
6. Follow the instructions on your device, and select the Employment Hero account you would like to assign the passkey to.
   
7. The Account Settings page will now display passkeys as ON once it has been successfully added.
   

1. Head to the Employment Hero login page and select Sign in with a passkey.
   
2. Using your device (if you used a phone, tablet or security key), scan the QR code, which will open your device's password manager. Select Continue to log in. If your web browser has your password manager installed, you will be prompted via a pop-up via the password manager's extension to use the passkey.
   
3. You will be automatically redirected, and logged in to Employment Hero.

1. Log into Employment Hero.
2. Select your profile in the top-right corner, then select Account Settings.
   
3. Under Passkeys, select Manage.
   
4. Enter your password and select Continue.
   
5. Select the Delete icon next to the passkey you would like to remove.
   
6. Select Confirm to remove the passkey.
   
7. The Account Settings page will now display passkeys as OFF once it has been successfully removed.
   
8. Once you have removed the passkey from your account, you will need to remove it from your password manager. To do this, locate the account in your password manager, edit the account, and remove the passkey. To learn more, consult your password manager's support documentation.

If you are not able to access your password manager, or device with the stored passkey, you will need to recover your account.

Reauthentication of your session is required if you are logged into Employment Hero, and there is an extended period of inactivity. If you have enabled passkeys, you can use your passkey to reauthenticate your session and continue to use Employment Hero.

Alternatively, you can also use your password to reauthenticate your session. If you do not use either method within the two-hour window, you will be redirected to the login page, and you will be required to log back into your account.
