  1. Log in to Employment Hero.
  2. On the left-hand side menu, click on Settings.
  3. Under the Security and Access Control tile, click on Add ons. 
  4. Find the software you wish to connect to and click Connect.
  5. Acknowledge and agree to the terms and click on Submit. 
  6. Add the API key from the other software you want to connect to.
  7. Click on Submit.

What is an API key?
An API Key is a unique, secure code that lets one piece of software communicate with and use the features of another piece of software. It is generated within a software program and you will need to find it to connect software. Navigate to the help centre for the software you want to connect Employment Hero to, then type in 'how do I generate an API key' for instructions. Once you've generated the API key in your other software, then you can add it to Employment Hero using the instructions above to connect.
