Custom Forms Uplift Slice 2 - Form Publishing

Release Date: 24/09/2025

Target Users: Global Forms users (EU, Employment Plus and Platinum)

Description: In Custom Forms, the current Publish Form modal is unintuitive and fragmented, making it difficult for admins to configure audience, availability, and notification settings confidently.
This leads to errors, delays, and abandoned forms, reducing adoption and slowing down the employee self-service experience.

Product features:

  • Audience selection – choose between all employees, or targeted teams, roles, locations, or individuals.
  • Availability window – set an optional expiry date, or leave blank for indefinite availability.
  • Notification settings – decide whether to notify recipients via email (with templated subject/body) or publish silently with no notification.
  • Streamlined modal layout – consolidates all publish options into a single, clear step before a form goes live.

Decluttering the Dashboard

Objective: Decluttering the Dashboard and Personalising the Dashboard Experience for New Organisations

Description: The default dashboard experience has been updated to better support new users and newly created organisations.

What’s changed: To create a more focused and welcoming first impression, the default dashboard layout for new organisations now only includes widgets with immediate relevance. Widgets like Shout Outs, Recognition, Time Off Calendar, Goals, Goal Insights, Employee Onboarding, Pinned Reports, Payslips & Celebrations are no longer shown by default unless the feature is actively in use. All widgets remain fully accessible via “Add widgets”, allowing users to personalise their dashboard at any time. If a user adds a widget manually, it will always display – even if there’s no data yet. Some widgets will only appear if the associated feature is enabled in settings. We’ve also removed the mobile app download prompt from the dashboard for a cleaner experience.

Why we’ve done this: User feedback – especially from newer customers – told us the dashboard felt overwhelming. By reducing initial visual noise, we’re helping users ease into the platform and focus on what matters most first. These changes are designed to improve clarity, and support a more personalised experience for new organisations. Existing organisations are not affected.

Settings Uplift - Slice 3

Objective: Uplift of Happiness Survey settings pages.

Description: We’ve revamped the Happiness Survey settings page with a fresh, streamlined design to align it with the look and feel of other settings pages. The page is now organised as a clear, user-friendly form to enhance usability. Additionally, we’ve introduced an enable flow, allowing employers to configure and review their settings before activating the survey—making setup more intuitive and controlled.

Release Schedule: 26/09/2025

Target Users: All regions with the New Settings Look & Feel open beta enabled

Payroll

Ask Community feature within Payroll (AU, NZ, UK)

Objective: We're launching a dedicated, self-service community for payroll administrators. This new platform, powered by Circles, will enable peer-to-peer support and knowledge sharing, empowering our payroll professionals to find solutions more efficiently and aligning the payroll product with Hero Connect community pillars.

Key Changes: Introduction of "Ask Community" feature: A new, accessible forum for payroll administrators to collaborate and share knowledge. This is accessed within payroll dashboard > Get Help > Ask Community

Targeted User Base: Available to all Full Admin Managers in the payroll product.

Geographic Scope: The feature will be rolled out to customers in Australia (AU), New Zealand (NZ), and the United Kingdom (UK).

Partner Limitations: Not applicable to EH Partners without explicit consent.

Login Protocol: Due to technical constraints with the Circles platform, users will access the community via a separate user login and password, not through the standard Single Sign-On (SSO) solution.

BETA release schedule: 25/09/2025

UK AIOP

Sync UK Payroll Docs to Mobile

Problem: Currently, UK employees can view their Payroll documents in the EH HR web platform; however, these crucial payroll documents are not accessible within the EH Work app. This limitation forces employees to log in to EH via web to retrieve these documents which leads to a fragmented and inconvenient user experience for employees who primarily want to use the mobile app.

Description: Once synced from Payroll to HR, the Payroll documents will also be available in the EH Work app under a new Payroll Documents area. The documents can then be viewed within the app and can also be downloaded/shared on iOS and Android.

Release Date: 24/09/2025

Target Users: EH Work users of UK HR<>PY connected orgs
