Run a burnout management report

Available for the following plans: Employment Lite, Employment Plus, Employment Unlimited
Available for the following HR classic plans: Standard, Premium, Platinum
Available for the following user access level: Admin

The Burnout Management Report allows you to track remaining balances for entitlement-based time off categories. It also displays recent and upcoming time off to identify employees at risk of burnout. From within the report, you can remind employees to take leave, which sends them an email reminder highlighting their remaining balance for the specified time off category. You can also remind multiple selected employees from within the report, excluding those with 0 remaining time off.

Getting started

Run a burnout management report
  1. Click the Reports menu.
  2. Click the Time tab.
  3. Click View full report for the Burnout Management Report.
  4. Filter the report by:
    • Personnel.
    • Time Off Category.
    • Group.
    • Risk - Risks are categorised into three levels:
      • Low risk - 0-8 weeks since time off taken.
      • Medium risk - 8-40 since time off taken.
      • High risk - 40-52 since time off taken.
  5. Click the Apply button for every filter.
Download your burnout management report
  1. Click the Reports menu.
  2. Click the Time tab.
  3. Click View full report for the Burnout Management Report.
  4. Filter the report by: Personnel, Time Off Category, Group, and Risk.
  5. Click the Apply button for every filter.
  6. Click the download icon (downward arrow) to export a CSV file of the report.

Remind employees to take leave

Within the Burnout Management Report, there is a feature that allows you to remind employees to take leave. In particular, this is for employees who haven't taken time off in a while and have been identified by the platform as at risk of burnout.

Remind an employee to take time off
  1. Click the Reports menu.
  2. Click the Time tab.
  3. Click View full report for the Burnout Management Report.
  4. Filter the report by: Personnel, Time Off Category, Group, and Risk.
  5. Click the Apply button for every filter.
  6. Click the Remind button for the employee you need to remind to take time off.
Remind multiple employees to take time off
  1. Click the Reports menu.
  2. Click the Time tab.
  3. Click View full report for the Burnout Management Report.
  4. From here, you can remind multiple selected personnel
    1. Filter the report by: Personnel, Time Off Category, Group, and Risk.
    2. Click the Apply button for every filter.
    3. Tick the checkbox beside the name of each employee you need.
    4. Click the Remind selected personnel button.

Further information

How are the values within the Burnout Management Report calculated?
  • The Remaining Balance is generated by calculating the percentage of remaining balance for entitlement-based time off categories, based on Current Balances which also take any manual adjustments into account (rounded). 
  • The Weeks Without Time Off field calculates how many weeks since the specified time off category has been used by an employee (rounded). 
  • The Upcoming Time Off field calculates how many weeks until the specified time off category will be taken and only includes approved requests (rounded).
