Recruiters can now source candidates directly from an active job using Job Mode Search. This feature uses the job description to return a ranked and scored list of candidates, surfacing high-quality matches before they apply. ATS - AI Pre-Screening Question Generation Improvements

The AI-powered pre-screening question generator now delivers smarter, industry-specific transportation and commute questions, ensuring candidates are only asked about vehicle access or commute reliability when relevant to the role. This enhancement speeds up job creation and improves the relevance of screening questions. (Released: 14 January 2026, Recruiters)

HR Rostering & Timesheets

Employer On-Cost into Rota (RHP, NI & Pension)

Managers can now view estimated employer on-costs, such as rolled-up holiday pay, National Insurance, and pension contributions, directly in shift costing for better budgeting and planning. These costs are included in shift cost breakdowns, reports, and rota budget overviews. (Released: 21 January 2026, UK orgs with advanced rostering)

Rota Booked Leave Cost

Booked leave costs are now included in shift costing, providing a more accurate view of labour spend and supporting better budget planning. Eligible leave requests display an associated cost in rota calculations. (Released: 21 January 2026, UK orgs with advanced rostering)

Payroll

Mandatory Fields Settings Page

Employers can now set certain fields, such as Emergency Contacts, Cost Centres, and Managers, as mandatory. This update helps maintain compliance and ensures critical information is captured for business practices. (Released: 20 January 2026, UK, Platinum, Employment Plus, Employment Unlimited)

Enhanced Login Experience on Payroll

The Payroll web login experience has been refreshed to align with the HR web login. Users benefit from tailored sign-in options, faster account switching, and a visible password entry option to reduce lockouts. (Phased release from 19 January 2026, All Payroll Web Users)

Security API Limits

API limits have been introduced to restrict the amount of data that can be requested from Leave pages, reducing the risk of system overload and improving reliability. (Released: 19 January 2026, All users)

Permission Enhancements - People Reports

Organisations on high-tier plans can now grant users access to individual people reports within Permissions, providing more granular control over report access. (Released: 21 January 2026, Platinum, Employment Unlimited, AIOP)

Public Holiday Indicator

A visual indicator now displays the name of public holidays applied to leave requests, helping users distinguish public holidays from regular working days when selecting leave dates. (Released: 20 January 2026, All users)

Policy Due Dates

Policy due dates can now be set, providing clear timeframes for employees to acknowledge policies. Automated reminders and updated reporting make it easier to track outstanding and overdue acknowledgements. (Released: 15 January 2026, All users)

Performance Management

9-Box Talent Grid Visibility and Accessibility

The 9-Box Talent Grid is now more accessible, appearing as a standalone item under Performance. Admins and managers can manage visibility settings and edit existing ratings, improving adoption and data accuracy. (Released: 20 January 2026, Platinum, Plus, Unlimited)
