United Kingdom (UK) Release Notes - Week 27, 2026
AI
Recruiters can now view a more detailed candidate summary in Find Talent candidate profiles, including role-specific hiring criteria, criterion-level match indicators, AI highlights, and an overall score. This helps teams assess fit faster using the requirements defined for the role. (Released: 2 July 2026, Recruiters and Hiring Managers)
Automations
Workflow users can now preview notification emails with sample data before publishing. This makes it easier to validate formatting and content without creating test workflows. (Released: 29 June 2026, Global workflow users)
Core HR
Compliance tags are now managed through a single unified tagging experience for documents, policies, and certifications. This reduces duplicate data and makes compliance records easier to maintain. (Released: 29 June 2026, All regions)
Admins can now import and export volunteers through the CSV employee import workflow by setting the worker type to Volunteer. This makes it easier to manage volunteer records at scale without changing existing employee import behaviour. (Released: 1 July 2026, All regions)
Finance Ops / HeroForce
Admins and owners with HeroForce access now see a customer education modal before starting a transfer to HeroForce. It explains what changes during the transfer, what employee data carries across, and provides direct paths to ROI information and expert support. (Released: 1 July 2026, AU, UK, NZ)
HR Rostering & Timesheets
Employees and managers can now subscribe published shifts to Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, or Apple Calendar. This makes it easier to view work schedules alongside personal commitments and plan ahead. (Released: 1 July 2026, All regions)
Admins can now manage timesheet submission and clocking permissions from a central timesheet settings page. This reduces setup friction and helps ensure employees have the correct timesheet and clocking access from one place. (Released: 29 June 2026, Global audience)
ITOps & Security
HeroAI can now explain why a user does or does not have access to specific platform functionality by checking their assigned security roles and permissions. This helps admins troubleshoot access issues faster using plain-language responses. (Released: 1 July 2026, Admins using HeroAI for Support, currently UK only)
Jobs site login sessions are now blocked from accessing sensitive HR data such as payroll and personal records. This strengthens account security by preventing career site access from being used to reach protected employee information. (Released: 29 June 2026, All global organisations and employees)
Payroll users can now register, manage, and sign in with passkeys in the EH Work app. This improves login security and brings payroll users into line with the existing passkey experience for HR users. (Released: 29 June 2026, Payroll EH Work users)
Restricted access payroll users can now be granted access to the Security Dashboard to view security settings and manage 2FA and SSO configuration. This allows businesses to give the right users access without requiring full payroll permissions. (Released: 30 June 2026, Payroll Web Users)
Leave
Leave information and request actions are now available in a dedicated employee profile section, making it easier to view balances, history, and requests in one place. This new experience improves navigation and helps users manage leave more efficiently. (Released: 1 July 2026 for UK organisations created from 1 January 2026, broader UK rollout from 8 July 2026, UK only)
Users in UK organisations can now see an inline warning and are blocked from submitting overlapping same-day leave requests of the same leave type. This prevents payroll sync issues and makes leave request rules clearer at the point of submission. (Released: 30 June 2026, All UK sub plans)
OpenAPI & Developer Experience
Developers can now archive or unarchive goals and submit goal health check-ins through new OpenAPI endpoints. This gives teams more flexibility to manage goal progress from external systems and BI tools. (Released: 29 June 2026, Integration engineers and developers)
OpenAPI access for timesheet entries now aligns with in-platform permissions, allowing authorised HR staff to build integrations without needing admin or owner credentials. (Released: 25 June 2026, OpenAPI users)

Performance Reviews on mobile now include improved navigation, global search support, PDF viewing, better text input behaviour, and a range of interface improvements. EH Work users can now report bugs immediately after taking a screenshot in the app, or at any time through a manual bug reporting flow in their profile. Screenshots are automatically attached to make issue reporting faster and clearer. (Released: 29 June 2026, EH Work users, HR and HR+Payroll only)
Staff Directory and Org Chart in EH Work now include refreshed profile cards and quick long-press actions for contacting or recognising colleagues. This makes it faster to find people and take action directly from the directory experience. (Released: 29 June 2026, EH Work users, HR and HR+Payroll only)

Recruitment

This helps reduce manual follow-up and improves consistency in candidate communications. (Released: 29 June 2026, Platinum, Elite, and Unlimited ATS customers)
Recruiters can now bulk import candidate databases into Talent Pool using CSV, including column mapping, duplicate review, merge options, and background processing for larger files. This makes it easier to migrate candidates from spreadsheets or other ATS platforms. (Released: 26 June 2026, Recruitment admins on Premium, Platinum, Plus, Unlimited, Engage, Elite)
Screening questions entered earlier in the job creation or edit flow now automatically pre-fill into Seek additional fields. This removes repetitive copy-and-paste work and speeds up job setup. (Released: 29 June 2026, Recruitment users)

UK admins can now grant access to the Background Check Report through a dedicated permission, without also granting broader Work Eligibility access. This supports more precise permission control and stronger least-privilege access management. (Released: 30 June 2026, UK only)
