Overview

A Full Payment Summary (FPS) is submitted to the HMRC when processing a pay run. It details the payments and deductions your employees have received.

Once you have submitted an FPS (Full Payment Submission), there is an option to preview the National Insurance (NI) figures that have been included in the pay run and on the FPS.

Getting started

Preview FPS NI figures

Log in to your Payroll classic platform.
Click the Pay Runs menu.
Select a completed pay run or create and finalise a new pay run.
Click the Actions tab.
Click the Reports button.
Click FPS NI Figures preview.
Use the Preview employee search filter to search for an individual employee’s figures.
