How to set up company values

Available for the following plans: Employment Lite, Employment Plus, Employment Unlimited
Available for the following HR classic plans: Standard, Premium, Platinum
Available for the following User Access level: Admin   

The Company Value Settings feature enables you to create your company values from scratch or by using our provided templates as a foundation. Additionally, this feature allows you to modify details, archive values you no longer ‌use, or delete incorrectly added entries. Your employees can view the company values you created in the following feature.

Getting started

Create company value: Template based
  1. Click the   Settings menu.
  2. Click the Company Values submenu.
  3. Click one of the four provided values:
    • We are one team.
    • We are bold and ambitious.
    • We invent.
    • We serve.

  4. Edit any of the following fields if required:
    • Value name
    • Value description
    • Icon

    Helpful Hint

    Not sure what to write? If you are on our Employment Unlimited or Pla HR Plan you can type a few points in, then click   to have our AI help you generate a draft message. You will be able to refine the draft as you need before submitting. 

  5. Click the Save button.

Create company value: Blank Canvas
  1. Click the   Settings menu.
  2. Click the Company Values submenu.
  3. Click the Add New button.

  4. Enter your value name within the Value Name field.
  5. Enter a summary of your chosen organisational value within the Description field.

    Helpful Hint

    Not sure what to write? If you are on the Employment Unlimited plan or HR classic Platinum plan, you can type a few points in, then click   to have our AI help you generate a draft message. You will be able to refine the draft as you need before submitting. 

  6. Choose from one of the following icon options:
    • Upload an icon.

      Important

      The maximum uploaded file size allowed is 2MB, while the recommended image file size is 267px x 267px.

    • Choose from Employment Hero provided icons.
  7. Click the Save button.

Editing data

Edit company value
  1. Click the   Settings menu.
  2. Click the Company Values submenu.
  3. Click the   button.
  4. Click the   Edit button.

  5. Make the required changes and click the Save button.

Data management

Un-archive company value

Important

You can only un-archive a company value that has the status of archived.

  1. Click the   Settings menu.
  2. Click the Company Values submenu.
  3. Click the   button.
  4. Click the   Unarchive button.

Deleting data

Archive company value

Important

The Archive a Company Value feature is only available when a recognition post on the company feed uses one of your company values.

  1. Click the   Settings menu.
  2. Click the Company Values submenu.
  3. Click the   button.
  4. Click the   Archive button.

Delete company value

Important

The Delete a Company Value feature is only available when a recognition post on the company feed did not use one of your company values.

  1. Click the   Settings menu.
  2. Click the Company Values submenu.
  3. Click the   button.
  4. Click the   Delete button.
