How do I manage notes in the Organisation File Notes feature via Payroll classic?

Available for the following Payroll plans: Employment Lite, Employment Plus, Employment Unlimited
Available for the following Payroll classic plans: Standard, Premium

As an organisation, you may have a list of updates that your Payroll management team needs to make to your organisational file, such as updating leave allowance templates because of a legislation change right through to adjusting your rostering settings if your needs have changed.

Having a handy place to write done what you need to action against your organisation file will reduce the risk of a task being missed by your team.

The Organisation File Notes feature allows you to write a message and save it against your business organisation file. You can also use this feature to delete a note if it is no longer needed. For example, once you update your business leave allowance templates, you can then remove the attached organisational file note.

Getting started

How do I add a note?
  1. Click the Business Settings menu.
  2. Click the Payroll Settings submenu.
  3. Click the Notes button.

  5. Enter the required note and click the Save button.

How do I delete a note?
  1. Click the Business Settings menu.
