Unblock emails on Payroll classic

Available for the following Payroll classic plans: Standard, Premium

Overview

If an employee notifies you they have not received emails from the payroll classic platform, you can use the Mail Log feature to see if any emails have bounced and/or dropped. If there are emails that have bounced and/or dropped, there is an Unblock feature you can use to resend the email to the employee.

Helpful Hint

If an email has the status of bounced, this means the recipient's email has refused to accept the delivery of the email. If the email has dropped, this means the email has bounced multiple times and the payroll classic platform has not emailed the message out.

Getting started

This premise will explain how you can unblock an employee email the platform has sent out.

Unblock email addresses
  1. Click the   Business Settings menu.
  2. Click the Payroll Settings submenu..
  3. Click the   Mail Log button.
  4. Complete the following fields:
    • Email.
    • Template.
  5. Click the   Filter button.
  6. Click the tick box next to each employee that needs unblocking.
  7. Click the   Unblock Email Addresses button.
