How do I manage payroll reporting packs via payroll classic?

Available for the following Payroll classic plans: Standard, Premium

The Payroll Report Packs feature allows you to create a pack of reports and specify details such as the attached message, the frequency, day, and time it goes outs, who needs to receive these reports and the reporting period. You can also use this feature to send out or download the reporting pack, copy an existing setup, edit the information if it changes, and delete a record if it is no longer required.

Getting started

Adding a Reporting Pack
  1. Click the Business Settings menu.
  2. Click the Payroll Settings submenu.
  3. Click the Report Packs button.
  4. Click the Add button.

  5. Complete the following fields:
    • Name.
    • Period.
    • Set up a schedule:
      • Frequency:
        • Weekly.
        • Fortnightly.
        • Monthly.
      • On these days:
        • Mon.
        • Tue.
        • Wed.
        • Thu.
        • Fri.
        • Sat.
        • Sun.
      • At this time.
      • Starting:
        • Today.
        • On this date.
      • Ending:
        • Never.
        • On this date.
  6. Click the Add a Time button.
  7. Select the required time you want this report pack sent out.
  8. Select the required reports from the Choose a Report to Add drop-down.
  9. Complete the required fields for the reports you chose.
  10. In the Recipients section, click the Add Recipient button.
  11. Complete the following fields:
    • Email.
    • Name.
    • Recipients must login to download report pack.
  12. In the Custom Messeage section, click the Edit button.
  13. Complete the following fields:
    • From email address
    • Custom message.
  14. Click the Save button.

Setup default configuration
  1. Click the Business Settings menu.
  2. Click the Payroll Settings submenu.
  3. Click the Report Packs button.
  4. Click the Configuration button.

  5. Complete the From Email Address field.

    Important

    The classic payroll platform will send report packs by default to the email address entered within the Contact Email Address field on your Business Settings page. You can change the default sender email by entering an email address in the From email address field.

  6. Click the Edit button.

  7. Type the required message in and click the Apply button.

Sending the report pack
  1. Click the Business Settings menu.
  2. Click the Payroll Settings submenu.
  3. Click the Report Packs button.
  4. Click the Send Now button.

Maintain

Downloading the report pack
  1. Click the Business Settings menu.
  2. Click the Payroll Settings submenu.
  3. Click the Report Packs button.
  4. Click the Download Now button.

Copying the report pack
  1. Click the Business Settings menu.
  2. Click the Payroll Settings submenu.
  3. Click the Report Packs button.
  4. Click the Copy button.

  5. Make the required changes and click the Save button.

Editing a Reporting pack
  1. Click the Business Settings menu.
  2. Click the Payroll Settings submenu.
  3. Click the Report Packs button.
  4. Click the report pack that needs editing.

Deleting a reporting pack
  1. Click the Business Settings menu.
  2. Click the Payroll Settings submenu.
  3. Click the Report Packs button.
  4. Click the Delete button.

Icon Name Description
  Recurring schedule This icon shows that this report pack is on a schedule.
  Specific time This icon shows that this report pack will go out out at specific times.
No icon Expired No icon shows that this report pack is not being sent to any recipients.
