As an employee, you will need to submit timesheets if your organisation requires you to track the hours you are working daily. Timesheet requests allow your manager to see your total daily hours you have submitted over the last week, so they can compare this against your contracted hours, with the end goal being approval of these entries so you receive payment for the days worked.
You can use the My Daily Hours Based Timesheets feature to submit a timesheet with the total hours you have worked per day for the last week, plus select any required work type and add any required comments. You can also use this feature to edit the information if it changes and delete a record that is no longer required. To use this timesheet type, you need to enable Daily Hours Based on Daily Entries. To read further details on how to enable this feature refer to this article.
