As an employee who wants to track your start and end times for work, you will need to submit daily start and end hours-based timesheets. This allows your manager to review your hours and breaks, compare them to your contracted hours, and approve your compensation accordingly.
With the My Daily Start and End Time Based Timesheets feature, you can log your start and end times, record breaks, and add comments. You can also edit or delete entries if needed.
Helpful Hint
To use this timesheet type, you need to enable Start and End Times based on Daily Entries. To read further details on how to enable this timesheet type, refer to this article.
Manage data
- Click the Timesheet menu.
- Click the My Timesheet submenu.
- Click the Add new timesheet button.
- Complete the following fields:
- Date.
- Start time.
- End time.
- Work type.
- Cost centre.
- Click the Add Break button.
- Complete the following fields:
- Start time.
- End time.
- Add a comment if required.
- Click the Save button.

The ability to view a timesheet is only available if payroll has processed the timesheet. To see the payroll status of the timesheet, use the Clock symbol to see the payroll status of the timesheet. Pending | A manager needs to approve the timesheet. |
Approved | A manager has approved the timesheet. |
Declined | A manager has rejected the timesheet. |
Created at | Provides a timestamp of the timesheet creation date |
Synced at | Provides a timestamp of when the timesheet tried to sync with Employment Hero Payroll classic . |
Sync successful | Determines whether the synchronisation of the timesheet between Employment Hero and Employment Hero Payroll classic has been successful. |
Edited at | Provides a timestamp of the last edit done to the timesheet after a previous Employment Hero Payroll classic synchronisation attempt. |
