Integrating Employment Hero with your Payroll classic platform will import your organisation details, payroll settings and employee files from your Payroll classic platform automatically. Once integrated, Employment Hero becomes your source of truth for employee file data and employee data will only flow automatically from Employment Hero to your payroll platform, as this data connection is not bidirectional.
From this point onwards, you and your employees will update details in Employment Hero and, once saved, those changes would automatically reflect on your payroll classic platform. In contrast, your payroll settings, including cost centres, leave categories, leave allowance templates, pay categories, pay schedules and pension settings, will continue to be maintained on your payroll classic platform. See the Maintain section below for information on how to bring across changes to your payroll settings.
