The payroll platform uses your company’s government gateway username and password to submit Real Time Information to His Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC). These details inform HMRC who is submitting RTI events for your organisation and provide them with the needed information to process your requests.
In the “HMRC Settings” screen, you can enter your organisation's financial information, such as payroll details, RTI settings, and Employer Payment Summary (EPS) submission process. You can also declare if you need to pay the Apprenticeship Levy and if you have reported this figure for this tax year already.
