How can I create a recurring bonus/allowance for Global Teams employees?

As an administrator with Global Teams employees, how do I submit a recurring Bonus/Allowance?

Answer

Organisation administrators with Global Teams employees can submit a recurring Bonus/Allowance in a similar way as a regular, one-off Bonus/Allowance.

Submitting a recurring Global Teams bonus/allowance
  1. Click the   Pay menu.
  2. Click the Bonus/Allowances submenu.
  3. Click the Create Bonus/Allowance button.

  4. Complete the following fields:
    • Employee.
    • Payment type.
  5. In the One-off or Recurring field and select the Recurring option.

    Helpful Hint

    Recurring Bonuses and allowances repeat on a monthly cadence until you ‌manually stop the allowance.

  6. In the Effective Date field, select the month in which you wish the first recurring bonus/allowance to occur.

    Helpful Hint

    You must submit bonuses and allowances for Global Teams employees before the 5th of each month to include the payment in the month’s payroll. If you are submitting a bonus/allowance after the 5th, you will not be able to select the current month as the effective date.

  7. Complete the following fields:
    • Gross payment amount:
      • Payment amount.
      • Payment currency.
    • Additional details.

    Helpful Hint

    The gross payment amount is the amount payable to the employee, subject to individual income tax. For clarity, this amount is exclusive of the applicable statutory employer on-costs, including but not limited to; employer/payroll taxes, insurance, and retirement contribution.

  8. Click the confirmation tick boxes at the bottom of the page.

  9. Click the Save button.
