Managing the clock in/out kiosk

Available for the following plans: Employment Lite, Employment Plus, Employment Unlimited
Available for the following HR classic plans: Standard, Premium, Platinum
Available for the following user access levels: Employee, Manager, Admin

The Kiosk feature allows you to set up a new kiosk to allow employees to easily clock in and out of their shift from the convenience of a Hero Time Clock kiosk or the Employment Hero Work app on their mobile device. This article will provide information on how to specify the kiosk name, location, time zone and if employees need to take a photo to clock in and out. You can also use this feature to edit any kiosk details and delete a kiosk.

Add a new kiosk
  1. Log in to Employment Hero. 
  2. Click on Settings. 
  3. Under the Time & Attendance submenu, click on Kiosk (Hero Time Clock).
  4. Click on Add time clock. add-time-clock.png
  5. Add the following details:
    • Time Clock Name
    • Work Sites
    • Cost Centre (Optional)
    • Managed by (optional)
    • Timesheet rounding will now be managed via the new “Round Timesheets” setting in your company settings. Learn more here.
  6. Click Save.
Edit an existing kiosk
  1. Log in to Employment Hero.
  2. Click on Settings. 
  3. Under the Time & Attendance submenu, click on Kiosk (Hero Time Clock).
  4. Select the Edit icon next to the kiosk you would like to edit.
  5. Make the required changes and click the Save button.
Delete an existing kiosk
  1. Log in to Employment Hero.
  2. Click on Settings. 
  3. Under the Time & Attendance submenu, click on Kiosk (Hero Time Clock).
  4. Select the Delete icon next to the kiosk you would like to delete.
  5. Select Delete to confirm the deletion of the kiosk.
