Manage timesheets and work types for independent contractors

Available for the following plans: Lite, Plus, Unlimited HR, Essentials, Engage, Elite, Unlimited HR+Payroll
Available for the following HR plans: Standard, Premium, Platinum
Available for the following user access levels: Manager, Admin 

Contractors who are required to submit timesheets can do so in Employment Hero to correctly process timesheets.

Getting started

Submit a timesheet 
  1. Log into Employment Hero. 
  2. Click the  Time menu.
  3. Click the Timesheet submenu.
  4. Click the Timesheet menu.
  5. Click the Add new timesheet button.
  6. Complete the following fields:
    • Date.
    • Start time.
    • End time.
    • Personnel.
    • Work Types.
    • Cost centre.
    • Break start.
    • Break end.
    • Comments.
  7. Click the Save button.

Edit a timesheet
  1. Log into Employment Hero. 
  2. Click the  Time menu.
  3. Click the Timesheet submenu.
  4. Click the Actions   button.
  5. Click the   Edit button.

Delete a timesheet
  1. Log into Employment Hero. 
  2. Click the  Time menu.
  3. Click the Timesheet submenu.
  4. Click the Actions   button.
  5. Click the   Delete button.

Work types

Add a work type to a contractor
  1. Log in to Employment Hero.
  2. Navigate to the People menu.
  3. Select Independent Contractors.
  4. Click on Pay Details.
  5. Click on Edit.
  6. Under Timesheets, select Use timesheets to submit all time worked or Use timesheets for exceptions only.
  7. Add your desired work types here by ticking the work types you wish to add.
  8. Click on Save.
