Pinning reports to the dashboard

Available for the following HR plan: Platinum
Available for the following User Access level: Admin   

You can pin reports to your dashboard using the Pinned Reports widget. This feature lets you have easy access to up to five reports, depending on what you need, and arrange them based on importance. You can pin Policies and Induction Content, Certifications, HR Documents, and Tenure Reports, along with your Workforce Snapshot or your Termination, Work Eligibility, and Tax Reports.

Pinning reports

Pin reports to your dashboard
  1. Click the Home menu.
  2. Click the Plus button on the Pinned Reports widget.

  3. Select each report to pin to your dashboard:
    • Policies & Induction Content Report.
    • Certifications Report.
    • HR Documents Report.
    • Tenure Report.
    • Workforce Snapshot.
    • Termination Report.
    • Custom Build Your Own Reports.
    • Tax Report.
    • Work Eligibility Report.

    Helpful Hint

    You can select from one to five reports to pin to your dashboard. Be sure to click the most important report first, as the order in which you click the reports will decide their order in the Pinned Reports widget. This means what you click first will appear first on the dashboard. The same goes for the second and next reports you click.

  4. Click the Add button.

Remove pinned reports
  1. Click the Home menu
  2. Click the Three Dots button on the Pinned Reports widget.
  3. Click the Remove Widget button.

Daily Activities

View pinned reports
  1. Click the Home menu
  2. Scroll to the Pinned Reports widget.
  3. Click the title of the report you want to view.

  4. If you have more than two pinned reports, click the More dropdown..
  5. Click the report you want to view.

Filter data for a pinned report
  1. Click the Home menu
  2. Scroll to the Pinned Reports widget.
  3. Click the Filter button.

  4. Filter the data based on the fields applicable for the specific report.

    Helpful Hint

    Filters may vary based on the report you are viewing.

  5. Click the Apply button.

View the full version of a pinned report
  1. Click the Home menu
  2. Scroll to the Pinned Reports widget.
  3. Click the report you need.
  4. Click the View Full Report button.

What data is displayed for the different pinned reports?

Here are the fixed default filters (automatically displayed information) for the different pinned reports:

  1. Policies & Induction Report.
    • Personnel Type = Employees & Contractors.
    • Employment Status = Active.
    • Document Status = Overdue.
  2. Certifications Report.
    • Personnel Type = Employees & Contractors.
    • Employment Status = Active.
    • Mandatory = Mandatory & Optional.
    • Certification Status = Expired & Overdue.
  3. Tax Report.
    • Personnel Type = Employees.
    • Employment Status = Active & Pending.
  4. Custom Build Your Own Reports (BYOR).
    • BYOR charts will only include employees.
    • You will not be able to pin table reports. You will need to either add a column or a donut chart to your BYOR for it to reflect properly on the Pinned Reports widget.
