eBenefits and FinTech - Benefits

Share Swag to employees via email

    • Release Date: 3rd October 2024.
    • Target Audience: AU admins/employers.
    • Objective:
      • Allow admins to endorse Swag to their employees via email.

Design - Core

  1. Implementing a more minimalistic sidebar for easier and less obstructive navigation
    • Release Date: 15th October 2024.
    • Target Audience: All users.
    • Objective:
      • Minimalistic design advances the platform into the modern look and allows for more simplistic search, as well as minimal obstruction to the view of the present page.
      • Allows easier navigation through subcategory menus whilst maintaining the consistency of the same menu items and permissions for users.
      • A step closer to hero design standards..

Money

  1. Streamline EWA Management
    • Release Date: 8th October 2024.
    • Objective:
      • Simplify how a user views their EWA history and management of their subscriptions.

Pre-Payroll (Time & Attendance)

  1. Swag Clock in/out Manager Notifications
    • Release Date: 8th October 2024.
    • Target Audience: Global Platinum + Next Gen.
    • Objective:
      • Managers would like to be notified when any of their direct reports are late to or have not yet clocked in/out. Therefore, we’ve implemented an additional setting for this exact behaviour.
        • Admins can toggle on direct report clock in/out notifications for managers
        • They can set custom buffer zones for when they will receive these notifications.

SEA Payroll

  1. New wage ceiling for SOCSO and EIS contribution from 1st Oct 2024
    • Release Date: 16th October 2024.
    • Target Audience: Payroll admins in MY.
    • Objective:
      • On 1st October 2024, The Ministry of Human Resources, through the Social Security Organisation (Socso), announces the salary ceiling for contributions is increased from RM5,000 to RM6,000 per month, effective from 1st October 2024.
      • The contribution amount that apply to employees with salaries exceeding RM5,000 per month is stated in the Third Schedule, Act 4 and the Second Schedule, Act 800. For employees with salaries exceeding RM6,000 per month, the contribution amount is subject to the wage ceiling of RM6,000. Full schedule of contribution can be referred to at https://www.perkeso.gov.my/en/rate-of-contribution.html
      • In this release, we update SOCSO and EIS rate in our payroll platform to reflect above rate for any pay run covering from 1st October 2024.
  2. Backdated leave without pay calculation for MY & SG
    • Release Date: 16th October 2024.
    • Target Audience: Payroll admins in MY & SG.
    • Objective:
      • Previously our system calculated leave without pay (LWOP) based on number of days in the payrun LWOP is processed. This has raised questions from clients in SG and MY, e.g. Beaks Group, Cuckoo, Johawaki if LWOP is for previous month. They have to do manual amendments and this is not something they want their team to spend time on.
      • To ensure compliance and support our clients, we have released below
        • Calculate LWOP deduction based on
          • number of calendar days (MY)
          • number of working days (SG) in the month that a LWOP request is associated with
        • If employee has LWOP and Additional earning in Pay run inclusion’s is set to The earning is pro-rated based on incomplete month formula, pro-rate the Additional earning based on
          • number of calendar days (MY)
          • number of working days (SG) in the month that a LWOP request is associated with
        • If an employee has LWOP and a rate change in middle of the year, calculate LWOP based on salary in the month a LWOP request is associated with..

  1. Driving Candidate Introduction Video Adoption
    • Release Date: 8th October 2024.
    • Target Audience: Swag users.
    • Objective:
      • To drive broader adoption and visibility of the introduction video feature for SmartMatch candidates by integrating the videos into additional areas of the Swag platform.
  2. SmartMatch Your Potential Salary Insights Report (Slice 2)
    • Release Date: 8th October 2024.
    • Target Audience: Jobseekers.
    • Objective:
      • Enhanced UI with skills recommendations and AI summaries to guide users to next steps in their career and gain insight into the roles and responsibilities of other career pathways to aid in user career decisions.

Talent Management

  1. Support Exit Interviews under My Active Surveys
    • Release Date: 9th October 2024.
    • Target Audience: Platinum, Next Gen Unlimited.
    • Objective:
      • Previously, Exit Interviews could only be completed via the Dashboard Survey tile which made the completion of the survey cumbersome.
        Now, user will be directed to the My Active Surveys page when they click on the Have your Say CTA.
  2. 9-Box Grid Audit Trail
    • Release Date: 10th October 2024.
    • Target Audience: Admins and Manager in UK & AU Platinum, Employment Unlimited, Employment Unlimited Plus.
    • Objective:
      • Customers want an audit trail for the 9-Box Grid so that admins can see how often the employees ratings are updated and who have updated the ratings.
      • Seeing the history of the ratings is helpful in being able to track progress of employees (e.g Employee X was rated X last year, they've now moved to position Y).
      • This enables leaders and managers to make strategic decisions around how talent is progressing through the business and why..
  3. List the no. of employees with missing Pay Categories when closing a Comp Cycle
    • Release Date: 8th October 2024.
    • Target Audience: Premium, Platinum, Next Gen Plus, Next Gen Unlimited.
    • Objective:
      • Previously, a generic error would occur when attempting to end a Comp Cycle if there were employees with missing Pay Categories in their employee files. This has been resolved by displaying a specific message identifying the affected employees.

UK Payroll

  1. UK Pension Re-enrolment
    • Release Date: 9th October 2024.
    • Target Audience: UK payroll users.
    • Objective:
      • Get the 3-year pension re-enrolment process working:
        • where PensionSync is used any employee assessed as requiring re-enrolment should be enrolled in the pension scheme
        • auto enrolment letter should be produced for those being re-enrolled (note: bug identified where the date on the letter is shown as the start of the period if this differs from the re-enrolment date)
        • employee Pension Settings should be updated and opt out removed where assessment is Automatic
        • payrun warning created to show the employees to be re-enrolled are assessed as Eligible Jobholders
        • those not being re-enrolled should then continue to be Auto assessed as normal in later payruns to see if they become an Eligible Jobholder going forward.
