Initiative: SmartMatch Hub JobSeeker Sign-Up Flow Optimisation
Objective: Reduce friction in the sign-up process, particularly for mobile users to increase job seeker activation rates
Description:

  • Step 1: Confirm Experience Details
    • Pre-populated occupation and location fields based on SmartMatch Hub inputs
    • Email input field for account creation
    • Skill input populated with up to 12 skills based on user’s entered occupation
    • Progress indicator showing “Step 1 of 2”
  • Step 2: Account Creation
    • Pre-populated email field from step 1
    • Password creation with visibility toggle
    • Dropdown to review all previously entered details
    • Includes existing marketing consent checkbox, T&Cs, and reCAPTCHA
    • Mobile-responsive design: Entire Step 2 form visible without scrolling on mobile devices
  • Data Handling: Inputs from step 1 are stored as parameters in the URL and carried over to step 2, making the process smoother and quicker for users.

Initiative: Hero Time Clock Automatically Round Timesheets
Objective: Enable admins to configure time clocks to round timesheets to the shift start/end time automatically within a buffer time
Description:

  • This feature allows admins to automatically round time entries for clock-ins and clock-outs to align with scheduled shift times, offering more accurate timesheet reporting. Admins can set a buffer period within which rounding occurs, which helps reduce discrepancies between scheduled hours and actual hours worked. This not only simplifies timesheet management but also ensures consistency and accuracy, which is crucial for payroll processing.

Initiative: Workflows - Uplift Expense and Leave Request Approvals Workflow
Objective: Improve approval workflows for leave/expense requests
Description:

  • This update enhances the existing workflows for managing leave and expense requests by adding automated notifications for approvers. Designated approvers, including both primary and secondary managers, will now receive notifications when a request is pending, improving the approval process's efficiency. This is part of a broader effort to ensure that approval processes are smooth and well-organised. The system will soon restrict direct or indirect managers from overriding workflow approvals, providing more control to the assigned approvers and reducing errors.

Description:

  • With this feature, recruiters can now create job posts directly from the talent panel within SmartMatch, streamlining the process of engaging with potential candidates. This eliminates the need for jumping between different platforms or screens to initiate a job post, improving efficiency. The feature also integrates with the auto-shortlist flow, enabling recruiters to quickly identify and connect with suitable candidates based on the SmartMatch algorithm’s recommendations. This change is expected to significantly reduce the time to post and fill job vacancies.
