Week 24 2025 | Release Notes

Here are our product releases for Week 24 of 2025, which includes June 9-13, 2025.

Global Benefits - Perks - EWA

Add email notification for updates made to benefits - Benefits Management

Objective: Encourage clients and employees to engage more with benefits management
Description: We received feedback from clients that they want email updates to be sent to employees when changes are made to benefits. When updates are made to a benefit (name, amount, description, frequency, date change), the compiled updates made within 10 minutes will be sent to the employee.

Release Date: 13 June 2025

Target users: Global, paid plans

Add email notification for expiring benefits - Benefits Management

Description: Previously, we added start date and end date fields to benefits management, so that admins can schedule future benefit enrollments or cessations with ease, and also boost the accuracy of employee benefits records. Based on feedback from clients, we have now added an email notification for expiring benefits. When the benefit is due to expire, within 10 days of end date, email is sent to admins and assigned employees.

Release Date: 13 June 2025

Target users: Global, paid plans

Bulk update values for assigned employees - Benefits Management

Description: Previously, we added a few fields to assign employees - benefits management, such as start date, end date, comment. Given that we have clients with huge number of employees assigned, it is time-consuming for admins to update each employees’ fields one by one. Hence, we have built a bulk update function to save admins time.

Performance Management

Unassigned employees will be hidden from the org chart

Problem: Previously, employees without a defined reporting line (i.e. no active primary or secondary manager) were appearing as top-level nodes in the organisation chart, often alongside roles like CEO, Director, or Founder. This was not only misleading but also risked prematurely revealing changes in reporting structures (e.g. when a manager becomes inactive, their reports suddenly appear at the top of the chart).

Solution: As a quick fix, unassigned employees will now be hidden from the org chart. An unassigned employee is defined as someone who has no active primary or secondary manager, and has no active direct reports.

Release Schedule: 10th June 2025

Consolidating 1:1 reminders into a single notification

Objective: To help teams stay focused and reduce noise from system communications, we’ve consolidated two 1:1 reminders into a single notification. This ensures managers and employees still stay on top of upcoming and missed 1:1s—without overwhelming their inboxes.

Description: Previously, users would receive one email if a 1:1 was scheduled for the next day, and another if a 1:1 wasn’t marked as held the day before. This isn't to be confused with the initial 1:1notification you get when you create a 1:1 for the first time. Now, these have been combined into one reminder email, sent at 9 am based on the user's regional time. This reduces email clutter while still prompting users to prepare for or follow up on 1:1 conversations.

Pre-payroll (Leave)

Enable Non-Workdays Inclusion Configuration Per Leave Type

Objective: To provide greater flexibility in leave management by allowing admins to specify whether non-workdays (e.g., weekends and public holidays) should be included in leave duration calculations for individual leave types.

Description: Merged the "Leave Types" and "Leave & Time Settings" pages into a unified interface: Leave Settings. Admins can now configure the inclusion of non-workdays (e.g., weekends, public holidays) individually for each leave type in advanced setting. This enhancement allows organisations to align leave tracking more accurately with legal and operational requirements, ensuring better support for different policies (e.g., excluding weekends from Sick Leave but including them for Annual Leave).

Release Schedule: 10th June 2025

Target Users: SEA orgs with AIOP leave

Pre-payroll (Time and Attendance)

Rostering Bulk Functions

Objective: Increase efficiency and reduce manual admin effort in shift scheduling.

  1. Create multiple shifts in seconds: Admins can now generate multiple shifts at once—no more repetitive entries for each shift!
  2. Assign shifts to multiple employees in one go: Select several employees and instantly generate shifts for all of them, massively speeding up scheduling tasks.
  3. Create open or empty shifts in bulk, with support for certifications and award costing: Until now, scheduling multiple shifts required a time-consuming, one-at-a-time process. This update brings power and speed to Roster Managers, helping them scale shift planning. By eliminating repetitive actions, Admins save time, reduce errors, and create schedules in a fraction of the time.

Talent Management

Move the probation review workflows to the Onboarding workflow application

Improve the reliability of probation review workflows by relocating them to the Onboarding workflow application, enabling proper configuration of employee-based triggers and email notifications.

Description: Previously, workflows using the “Employee Started” trigger within the Review workflow app failed to send emails due to missing review context. To resolve this: Probation review workflows are now managed within the Onboarding workflow app. This update introduces the template “Add New Employee to Probation Review” and action “Add Employee to Review Period” to the onboarding workflow application.
It ensures better alignment with the workflow engine’s design, allowing users to set up automated emails and review periods confidently and effectively. As part of this release, existing probation workflows are migrated to the Onboarding workflow app so they can be managed in one central place.
