Automations
Support Create Task Action in Custom Form Workflows
Release Date: 23/12/2025
Target Users: Global Forms Workflow users (EU, Employment Plus and Platinum)
Problem: Custom Form Workflows do not support automated task creation, requiring admins and teams to manually create follow-up tasks after reviewing form submissions which leads to operational overhead and inconsistent execution. Downstream work cannot be reliably triggered from form workflows, meaning approved requests do not automatically translate into actionable tasks for HR IT or Operations reducing the effectiveness of Custom Forms as operational tools.
Product features:
- Workflow Configuration
- Add Create Task as a supported THEN action in Custom Form Workflows
- Allow multiple Create Task actions within the same workflow step
- Task Setup
- Configure a required task name with a short title
- Configure an optional task description with dynamic field support
- Add optional subtasks as simple text items
- Task Assignment
- Assign task owners using existing Create Task patterns including submitter managers teams or specific employees
- Support external recipients via free-text email address
- Timing & Execution
- Set relative due dates using offset direction and reference date
- Create tasks immediately or after a delay using existing workflow timing logic

Introduce Probation Report in the GT Portal
Objective: Improve probation visibility for Global Teams
Initiative: We have released the Probation Report in the Global Teams Portal. GT Admins can now view probation start dates, end dates, lengths and current status for workers across their PEO organisations. The report provides a single view to identify employees who are currently in probation, ending soon or who have completed probation, helping GT teams proactively manage probation periods across clients and entities.
The report includes filtering, sorting and CSV export, making it easier to monitor probation timelines and support operational workflows directly within the platform.
Key improvements:
- New Probation Report available in the Global Teams Portal
- Visibility of probation start date, end date, length and status
- Status indicators including In Progress and Ending Soon
- Filtering by employee, host organisation, PEO organisation, employing entity and status
- CSV export for offline analysis and sharing
- Report layout aligned with existing GT reporting patterns
Release date: 23/12/2025
Release Probation Report to All Customers
Objective: Improve probation visibility across the platform
Initiative: The Probation Report is now available to all customers. Following the initial release in the Global Teams Portal, the Probation Report has been rolled out to the main Employment Hero platform. All customers can now access a dedicated report to view probation start dates, end dates, lengths and current status for their workforce.
The report provides a central view to help HR teams and managers track active probation periods, identify employees whose probation is ending soon, and review completed probation periods without relying on manual tracking. This release brings parity between Global Teams and the core platform, ensuring consistent probation visibility for all customers.

- Visibility of probation start date, end date, length and status
- Status indicators including In Progress, Ending Soon and Completed
- Filtering and sorting to quickly find relevant employees
